Five Star Institute Community

Real Estate Professionals

The community for real estate professionals working distressed property, REO, single-family rental, fix and flip, and institutional inventory.

The real estate professional working distressed property, REO, single-family rental investment, fix and flip, or institutional inventory is operating in a market with its own rhythm. Properties come from different sources. Buyers, sellers, and capital partners behave differently. The relationships that drive business take longer to build, and the work itself rewards specialization that conventional residential brokerage does not teach.

Five Star Institute's real estate professional community is built for this side of the business. It serves agents and brokers who specialize in distressed and institutional inventory, SFR investors and property managers scaling portfolios, fix and flip operators, REO specialists earning the FORCE credential, and the conventional practitioners building a path into this work. The infrastructure is purpose-built: education through Five Star Academy, the FORCE credential as the destination designation, lead generation tools designed for how this business actually transacts, and Velocity, the annual conference where this community convenes.

The FORCE Red Book is distributed nationally to asset managers, keeping members visible where REO referrals originate.

Governance

The FSI real estate professional community is governed by a practitioner-led Advisory Council drawn from active FORCE and community members. The Advisory Council shapes event programming, FORCE credentialing standards, and community direction. The Advisory Council Chair holds a representative seat on the Five Star Executive Council, FSI's unified governing body.

This is the same governance model that drives every FSI professional community. Practitioners lead. The association serves.
